Add Amazon Bedrock Scanner
Overview
In this step you’ll connect MuleSoft Platform to Amazon Bedrock. The scanner will discover AI agents running in your AWS account and automatically populate them in the MuleSoft agent registry.
Step 1 — Navigate to Providers
- Log in at omni.mulesoft.com
- In the left navigation, click Providers
Step 2 — Add an Amazon scanner
- Under Amazon, expand Platforms
- Click Add Scanner
- Select Amazon Bedrock
Step 3 — Configure the connection
Fill in the following fields using the credentials from the Credentials page:

| AWS Region | us-east-1 |
Click Test Connection. Once the connection test succeeds, click Continue.
Step 4 — Name the connection

Leave Frequency and Time at their default values.
Click Connect.
You should see the message: Your connection is live! Scanner was created for Amazon.
Click Done.
Step 5 — Run Discovery Scan
- Open the Amazon Bedrock Connection you just created
- Click Run Discovery Scan
The scanner will query Amazon Bedrock and discover any agents running in the us-east-1 region. Once complete, you will see the discovered agent populated in the registry.
Step 6 — View the discovered agent
- In the left navigation, click Agents
- Find the agent that was brought in from Amazon Bedrock
- Click on the agent to open its Overview tab
The overview shows:
- Agent name and description
- Source platform (Amazon Bedrock)
- Discovery timestamp
- Available capabilities
Key insight: This is the power of Scanners — assets from different external platforms (AWS, Azure, Salesforce, etc.) are automatically discovered and centralised in one registry without any manual import. As your external environments change, re-running the scan keeps the registry current.
